Rocket Science Update - Hotfix No. 5


I’ve made some substantial fixes over the past day, enough I think of to be deserving of their own update post.

Firstly, I’ve fixed a major bug in save files that caused scripting to stop working after restoring a save among other issues. The new missile mechs also weren’t being saved at all which should now be fixed.

EDIT: I should note this hotfix should prevent these problems in new saves but it does not retroactively fix them in existing ones.

And as a balancing change, people are having trouble figuring out where to go after picking up the cyan key in the new Multiport level so I’ve removed some of the containers in the warehouse and added an easier way to continue. You still have to look around for a bit but it should be much clearer than before.

EDIT: Also, multiple people on Windows have had crashes from killing the mech in the canal area of the new map. I can’t for the life of me reproduce this on Linux so I’ll have to dust off an old Windows partition to debug it meaning it probably won’t be fixed for a while.
