Hello there! I'm Michael, a programmer and game developer based in South Australia. I like to make games with a custom engine written in C. At the moment I'm rushing to finish Ctesiphon, my retro fps project as I've been at it for nearly a decade and want it to finally be done.
I consider myself a pretty good programmer but my art, design, and writing skills are very much underdeveloped which is something I intend to improve with future projects. To that end in 2025 and onward I intend to make a bunch of smaller games before committing to a larger project again. Not that I intended for Ctesiphon to be a big project in the first place...
Something else I'll be doing is creating some small prototypes for specific things I want to put in my big space game, Turbostellar. It's not the kind of project that's likely to pay for itself in its early stages and will take many years for me to finish, so shipping some tiny toy projects related to it should do well to tide me over.
